I really should learn how to get the video function on my camera working properly and do production footage on the new press as the prints are coming to fruition. It may be possible to have the camera moving along the print arm and video its trajectory as the ink is applied. This could be interesting on the more complex ten colour prints to really see how the prints develop and how the look at each stage as they are built up. its tricky to do as i need to stand right in front of the press to get enough pressure on it when sliding the arm in a horizontal motion to drag the ink along via the squeegee and print head. I may have to try and mount the camera above the press at some point and see how that works. The press that i engineered is actually huge, its about five foot long, funny how every photograph i take of lt looks like some kind of toy town miniature!..
