METAL MANDALA
This was an interesting piece to work on. I started with a solid silver base for this abstract and then began to apply cyan, magenta, yellow and black ink layers until main image was formed on the sheet. Following that i then started to add in solid spot colours which consisted of cream, red, orange and a pure brilliant flouro pink.
The mixure of metalics, full colour process printing and spot colour has created a stunning vibrant prints that really jumps off the sheet.
Close up you can see all the layers of ink build up in the light. This really is quite a textural piece with loads of nuance.
This is a limited edition print. 47 prints were created in total.
