Sound System Culture

As some of you may already know if you've had a thorough read though my wesbite that i've been fan of Reggae music for many years and I have produced quite a large body of experimental imagery around this genre.

SubDub is one of the Uk's longest running Reggae sound system events. Numerous Reggae legends have been showcased there. Lee Scratch Perry, Johnny Clarke, Horace Andy, Jah Shaka, Adrian Sherwood to name but a few.

I've had the honour of creating the flyer art for every session during this Sound System Culture institutions 21 year history.

This silkscreen print features some of the graphic elements from the original flyers re-visioned into a new composition. I produced this special edition for a recent solo exhibition i held in the city of Leeds (Uk).
